If you've got a regular squash or racketball match against the same opponent then Racket Mate is the ideal app to track/log your results. Over time you can easily see who’s been the best player for maximum bragging rights in the pub!

This is a free web app so feel free register a league and start logging your scores.

History

Racket Mate started out as a very simple site - hard coded to a single league for the Lizards' weekly squash battle between Chris, Nick & Fil.

The Lizards league itself originated from a bunch of miscreants from the same company who started a mini post-work running club - called the Lizards to reflect the lightening pace. In time the running was phased out in favour of racket sports & we still have a fixed weekly game years after we all left that original employer.

The Pussy league somehow took it's name from a drunken poker evening where Fil's cat found us a rather amusing bunch which led to drunken Nick repeatedly calling the cat "pussy". We've no idea why, but the title "pussy" then became the stock insult for any member of the Lizards who failed to turn up to the regular match.

For fun the site was re-written as an app for the iPhone which attracted quite a few downloads as a freebie along with some nice feedback but sadly it didn't make enough money for it to be worth maintaining so the iPhone app is not currently available.

In its place is this new version of the Lizards site that now allows anyone to register new leagues. Eventually I'll get around to adding some nifty charts too!

And... just so it's logged publicly on the internet. The last time Chris played Fil in a Racketball singles match Chris won 3-0!
